Adults

Choice Tutors works with adults to increase confidence, academic attainment  and effectiveness in the workplace and everyday life.

We offer tuition in adult literacy and numeracy, study skills and assignment writing, and speaking English if it is not your first language.

We also offer coaching and mentoring sessions and skills based training sessions on areas such as:  personal effectiveness, managing yourself and other people at work.

After initial assessment and identification of your specific needs, we will tailor the learning programme to suit your style of learning.  Your tutor will always come  with a pre-prepared plan for the session, but will be flexible to focus on your needs or most important issue at the time.

We aim for you to make improvements quickly.  However, this may not always be possible as it can take time, and further practise on your own, to confidently apply new skills.  Also, whilst there is a style to essay writing, some questions may be harder for you to answer than others and this will affect your marks.

The Choice Tutors basic individual hourly rates apply for adult tuition.  However, you will be charged an additional £10 if you want your tutor to check draft essays, letters applications (or similar) and give you further feeback and guidance out of the session.

Group training sessions can also be arranged at a separately agreed price with the tutor.
