Eleven Plus/Common Entrance Exam Workshops

These courses are designed to prepare your child for the Independent or Grammar School entrance exams.  They are suitable for children in Year 4 or 5 and will cover English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.  Students will sit a mock exam on the last day of the course.

Our workshops are run by two experienced tutors who are very knowledgeable in the requirements of the entrance tests.  The tutors will guide your child through all the types of questions asked, provide practice papers and help with timing.

Course Content

English Comprehension; composition; vocabulary and grammar; exam technique

Maths Focus on problem solving and ‘tricky questions’

Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning All types of questions covered; brain training exercises; exam technique

Easter

Tuesday 10th – Friday 13th April 2012

Every day  9.30 am – 1.00 pm

Venue:   Arts Centre, Roaring Meg, Stevenage

Summer: Dates to be confirmed

Cost: £200 per child

Price includes all course materials and refreshments.  At the end of the course full feedback will be provided including suggestions and recommendations for student development.
